The Atlanta Falcons marketing team has made great strides in branding our great franchise and building solid, strategic business partnerships with our sponsors. Because of growth within the Atlanta market, we are adding a Sponsorship Business Development position to our marketing team. The successful candidate will maximize local and national revenue opportunities by selling new corporate partnership programs and growing our existing base.

 REPORTS TO: Director of Sponsorship Sales

 WORK LOCATION: Atlanta Falcons Headquarters, Flowery Branch

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

 · Identify and solicit new local and regional corporate partners

· Develop customized sponsorship programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients

 · Assist Client Service Coordinators in the execution of multiple partnership agreements

 · Identify new ways of generating incremental revenue / minimizing expenses for the organization

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 · A Bachelors Degree

 · Proven track record of closing business by building quality client relationships

 · Creativity to structure mutually beneficial deals

 · Excellent, proven cold calling skills

 · Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals

 · Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

 · Ability to work some evenings and weekends, based on business needs

· Five to seven years of experience selling the assets of a professional sports team including: Television Commercials, Radio Commercials, Stadium Signage, Internet Advertising, Retail Promotions, Hospitality, Community Relations / Special Events, Logo / Marks Usage The Atlanta Falcons offer an attractive benefits package as well as a competitive base salary plus bonus compensation package.
