Digital Specialist - AMB Sports & Entertainment (Atlanta, GA)

Digital and social media are indispensable and central components when authentically connecting to our audience locally and nationally. As part of the AMBSE Media Group, the AMBSE Digital Specialist will play an important role shaping the way our audiences see Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The AMBSE Digital Specialist will report to, and work closely with the Digital Product and Social Lead.

The Digital Specialist is responsible for creating and editing digital content that supports AMBSE’s digital media initiatives. This content includes web and social copy, video, imagery and other page content. Primary responsibilities will be writing/editing/implementing web content and will also include creating, coordinating and executing an aggressive content schedule for web and social channels. He/she will play a key role in maintaining our social media accounts. The right candidate should either have some experience with HTML/CSS, or be willing to learn.

This high-profile, fast-paced and challenging opportunity requires a self-starter with strong organization skills and be able to manage deliverables in an efficient, timely manner. He/she will be responsible for helping to define our voice while collaborating with other team members to create content that is inspiring and informative while ultimately driving website engagement.


  • Produce and implement inspiring, informative and engaging digital content, leveraging strong editing skills as needed.
  • Create and manage a detailed content calendar for web, app and social platforms.
  • Help shape the voice used to communicate our vision and inspire our audience across digital and social platforms.
  • Evaluate and analyze content performance and implement recommendations to further optimize our content strategy.
  • Serve as editor across web, app and social channels and drive content ideation from concept to completion
  • Create and publish photo and video galleries.
  • Integrate with all departments including communications, marketing, fan experience to produce and support initiatives.
  • Ensure all content is complete, correct and up to date across digital properties
  • Work closely with digital team to adhere to brand standards and the latest guidelines in user experience and optimization.
  • Work within WordPress CMS to publish content and make updates.


  • Four-year degree in journalism, media, marketing, editorial newsroom, or related field.
  • Two years of experience supporting successful digital programs with content creation for multiple channels and platforms.
  • Strong copywriting and editorial skills within digital and social media channels.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS and/or HTML/CSS is preferred.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-paced, demanding professional setting.
  • Ability to meet aggressive editorial deadlines.

Internet/New Media: Audio/Video Editing and Production
Digital Video Intern - Atlanta Falcons Football Club, LLC (Flowery Branch, GA)

The Digital Video Seasonal Assistant will provide valuable insights into the inner workings of a professional sports franchise. This assignment will be located at the Atlanta Falcons Headquarters in Flowery Branch, Georgia.  Candidates must be able to contribute 40 hours per week and be available on nights, weekends and attendance at all home games. 

Roles and Responsibilities

As a member of the Digital Media team for the 2017 season, the Digital Video Seasonal Assistant will assist in production with the Video Services Department; film and edit day-to-day videos for Atlanta Falcons social properties,, and other marketing initiatives; support the Digital Media team on game days at Mercedes Benz Stadium and online during away games; prepare and upload video melts for distribution on Atlanta Falcons broadcast partners (NFL Network & CW69); create exclusive social media video shorts and gifs; and additional responsibilities as required by the Digital Media team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Required Skills

  • Recent college graduate in Telecommunications, Broadcast News, Film, or related.
  • Possess a high level of interest in working in a fast-paced, sports-centered environment.
  • Must have at least one (1) year related work or volunteer experience.
  • Must be able to show examples of past video production work.
  • Video production skills a must.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Mac operating systems; general understanding of other Adobe Creative Cloud platforms.
  • Maintain exceptional written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels.
  • Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, maturity and professionalism
  • Understanding of the evolving nature of social media

Internet/New Media: Audio/Video Editing and Production
Audio-Visual Engineer - Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary

Provides technical support to the Stadium Operations Department which consists of Engineering and Building Services. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides Audio-Visual (A/V) support for all events held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS).

  • Responsible for setup, test, breakdown and support for all hospitality, small event, internal meeting/conference room and press conference a/v needs including but not limited to:

    • Speaker systems, mixers, multi boxes, microphones (wired/wireless), podiums, lighting, backdrops, pipe & drape, projectors, projector screens, white boards, flip charts, etc.

    • Troubleshoot signal flow, when required, to ensure successful meeting or event

    • Troubleshoot fiber issues locate and repair as needed

  • In coordination with IT Dept. - program, test, troubleshoot and repair Crestron system issues

  • Audio System Repair & Maintenance (R&M)

    • Front and back of house and portable speaker systems; test, repair, replacement, preventive maintenance

    • Amplifiers; in coordination with IT Dept. – test, repair, replace as necessary

    • Program, troubleshoot, test audio system distribution software

    • Maintain inventory of attic stock/spare/replacement parts

  • Video System Repair & Maintenance (R&M)

    • Provides secondary support for all video boards at MBS, when requested or needed

    • In coordination with IT Dept. & Daktronics – test, repair, replace components as necessary

  • Television Monitor R&M

    • In coordination with IT Dept. – troubleshoot signal flow, diagnose TV monitor problems, replace TV monitors as needed, coordinate repair with outside service providers, maintain proper inventory of attic stock/spare/replacement parts

  • Provides secondary support to Mercedes-Benz Event Production for all ENG truck tie-ins:

    • Park & power, Satellite News Feeds, etc.

  • Other tasks/duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of five-(5) plus years of direct related work experience in the areas of broadcast and production in a stadium, ballpark, university, or arena

  • A degree in communications, mass media, broadcasting AV engineering production or related field

    Required Skills

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service, exhibit extraordinary professionalism, superior communication skills, provide leadership, and make decisions in stressful situations

  • Working knowledge of videotape machines, digital content players, digital projectors, distributed audio systems, video boards, fiber optic systems, etc.

  • Meaningful understanding of audio and video signal flow, ability to read and understand blueprints and control diagrams

  • Working knowledge of audio/video related test equipment

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends; and provide after-hours assistance when required to support Stadium Operations.
