The Assistant Email Developer’s primary responsibilities are to assist the Email Marketing Manager in supporting the Arthur M. Blank Sports & Entertainment company’s day to day efforts of producing and developing HTML email templates from specifications given from various departments throughout the organization, in a timely, on-brand, and unique way, to drive fan engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Email Marketing Manager to strategically improve email development and marketing efforts by staying on top of the email production schedule and timeline, ensuring all projects are completely in a timely manner.
  • Day to day development and production of HTML emails, utilizing existing templates to expedite requests as well as writing new code from scratch, if needed.

  • Assist with managing elements of the email campaign process, including building templates, creating workflow, identifying audience segments, testing and analyzing email results.

  • Work with back-end developers by installing tracking tags on webpages to ensure proper tracking through from email click-throughs for better understanding of the email effectiveness and engagement.

  • Recommend and incorporate dynamic content in order to personalize messages to improve the experience.
  • Assist with building and executing a comprehensive best practice plan for continuous improved from a mobile prospective, including subject lines, content, copy to drive open and click rates
  • Employ a consistent best-practice approach for creating email templates, dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, and deliverability
  • Build, test and execute email marketing campaigns using HTML.
  • Assist with creative images and needs in order to build successful mobile friendly designs
  • Manage the utilization and contact frequency of all Direct Marketing communications to preserve the integrity of all data including e-mail opt-in permissions. Responsible for all privacy (CAN-SPAM and CASL) compliance.
  • Interface with e-mail service provider to obtain and maintain best practices and ensure the database technology is meeting all email marketing needs.
  • Act as a key advocate for the implementation of proper policies and best practices for all businesses.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • College degree with at least 2-3 years of Digital Marketing/Email Marketing experience.
  • Experience working in CSS & HTML, and ability to hand code
  • Must have experience managing privacy (CAN-SPAM, CASL) compliance
  • Experience working on web, mobile and desktop clients
  • Experience working on high volume projects
  • Front end email development experience
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work, communicate, problem resolve, organization are essential
  • A self-starter who can work independently, but thrives in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to learn complex software products and explain them to customers
  • Experience with IBM Marketing Cloud platform a plus
  • Google Analytics a plus


Required Skills

Junior Business Systems Analyst - AMB Sports + Entertainment (Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary

The AMB Sports & Entertainment Group is hiring a Junior Business Systems Analyst that will focus primarily on management and support of the applications deployed within the organization, to include the new Mercedes-Benz stadium opening Summer 2017.  A successful candidate should have a passion for identifying and deploying innovative technologies that enhance the end-user experience.  Furthermore, this individual should have a proven track record of defining and writing detailed business or technical requirements.  The Junior Business Systems Analyst will work closely with internal and external teams to ensure that all systems being considered, developed, procured, and deployed will fulfill and/or exceed our needs. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the process of defining and writing detailed business requirements that will be utilized by internal and external teams to deliver world-class solutions
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to document business and technical requirements for critical systems integrations
  • Write comprehensive test cases and plans and lead the user acceptance testing process
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend business systems and applications to support our requirements
  • Assist in the implementation of application updates, releases, etc.
  • Assist in the management of the software development roadmap for all stadium systems
  • Maintain a working relationship with our third party stadium system providers
  • Develop and/or maintain end-user system documentation
  • Supervise and/or provide system training
  • Stay informed on the latest technology trends and provide thought leadership on new technologies both inside and outside the AMBSE organization
  • Establish, monitor, and report on performance goals and KPI’s for the department.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, on-quality, and on-budget.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, engineering, or related field
  • Two (2) plus years of related experience
  • Experience defining, writing, and implementing detailed business or technical requirements

Information Systems: Technical Services Management
Controls & Roof Technician - Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary

Provides technical support to the Stadium Operations Department which consists of Engineering and Building Services. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Functions as the primary department representative for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC controls and roof system control problems.

  • Performs preventive maintenance and/or schedules outside service for all control equipment as required or directed.

  • Assists Director of Stadium Operations with initial development and ongoing operating plan for the operable roof:

    • Coordinates preventive maintenance and service repair of operable roof components, as required or directed.

    • Trains and certifies personnel to maintain a group of individuals who will serve as the roof operations team.

  • Takes lead role for receiving and interpreting MBS (Mercedes Benz Stadium) event schedule and programs or “time schedules” the BAS (Building Automation System – Johnson Controls Metasys) and ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls) lighting control systems.

    • Modifies control programming to improve process controllability and reduce energy consumption, looking for energy saving opportunities at all times.

  • Assists Director of Stadium Operations with the development of operating budget projections for HVAC control and roof systems.

    • Provides input for long-term CAPEX (Capital Improvement) concepts for controls and roof systems.

  • Coordinates roof membrane/leak repairs as necessary or required.  Ensures proper inflation of roof petal structure at all times.

  • Other tasks/duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • College degree in Engineering field desired.  Minimum of seven-(7) plus years of direct related work experience in troubleshooting and repairing of control systems. 

  • Must have keen understanding of low volt control system design, theories, methods, and strategies.  Full understanding of AC and DC voltages, PLC’s, DCS’s, transmitters, sensors, variable speed drives, etc. 


    Required Skills

  • Advanced analog and digital control system technical skills; able to read and interpret complex control circuit wiring diagrams, signal flow, inputs/outputs, etc.

  • Superior communication skills, dedication to customer service, high degree of professionalism

  • Able to provide after-hours assistance when required, and capable of working nights, weekends, or other hours as required to support Stadium Operations.
