Facility Operations: Grounds Crew/Turf Management
Conversion Associate - Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA)
  • Position Summary

    The Conversion Associate shall be responsible for performing routine duties and completing conversion requirements associated with the day-to-day activities of the conversion division of the Stadium Operations.  Duties include but are not limited to:  manual labor, event set-up and tear down activities, compliance with equipment handling guidelines, and such other functions and duties as required by the Conversion Supervisor and Conversion Manager.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Lift moderate amounts of weight in the form of tables, chairs, stanchions, staging floor panels and plywood panels as required.
    • Push equipment carts, door panels and staging units as required.
    • Follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Assume responsibility for equipment assigned (i.e., pagers, two-way radios, keys, tapes, etc.).
    • Insure that all storage rooms are kept clean and in an orderly manner.
    • Notify Conversion Supervisor of equipment and facilities in need of repair and replacement.
    • Notify Conversion Supervisor of supplies requiring replenishment.
    • Interact with other departmental personnel in a cooperative manner.
    • Complete daily assignments as assigned and in a cooperative manner.
    • Be prepared to work unusual shifts and hours.
    • Such other duties, functions, special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Conversion Supervisor.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.  Minimum one (1) year experience in a set-up or related position preferred.

Facility Operations: Maintenance
Food & Beverage Maintence Coordinator - Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, Ga)

Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for all repair, upkeep and preventive maintenance activities for all food service cooking equipment, beverage systems and associated concessions infrastructure within Mercedes?Benz Stadium (MBS). The Food & Beverage Maintenance Coordinator will report directly to the Maintenance Foreman?Projects Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manages service agreements with outside service vendors to thoroughly maintain beverage dispensing
  • systems, refrigeration equipment, cooking appliances, kitchen hood grease ducts/fire suppression, ice
  • makers, and other miscellaneous food preparation equipment and systems.
  • ? Self?performs certain preventive maintenance activities, as required or directed.
  • ? Responsible for maintaining accurate and thorough repair and maintenance records for all systems and
  • equipment using MBS CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
  • ? Maintains inventory of spare parts necessary to keep equipment and systems functioning at peak
  • efficiency levels at all times.
  • ? Assists with budget preparation, expense forecasting, equipment life cycle analysis, and strategies to
  • identify cost effective methods to manage food & beverage system maintenance expenses.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a building or project over 1 million square feet.
  • Adequate knowledge of commercial cooking and food preparation appliances, kitchen hood systems, beverage dispensing and refrigeration systems.
  • Must have experience with safety regulations and procedures. Experience and certification to operate high reach lift equipment a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Facility Operations: Custodial/Housekeeping
Housekeeping Quality Assurance & Training Coordinator - Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Quality Control/Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator is responsible for developing quality control/quality assurance inspection programs and procedures, and the development of training content to properly educate Mercedes-Benz Stadium Housekeeping Team Members.  This position will also take an active role in developing key performance indicators to track progress. The Housekeeping Quality Control/Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator will report directly to the Manager of Housekeeping Services.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop functional training standards, training manuals, check lists and operating processes needed to properly educate Housekeeping Team members in the appropriate means and methods of cleaning Mercedes-Benz Stadium.  The coordinator will be responsible for providing new hire and ongoing routine training sessions/refreshers and maintain completion of records/logs.

  • Develop key performance indicators to track individual and department performance and progress. Assist in providing assessments of staff for additional training needs, performance improvement and performance optimization. Provide regular reports to the Manager of Housekeeping Services and Director of Stadium Operations.

  • Support organization’s Welcome Home service philosophy by ensuring team members attendance, compliance and engagement and participating in training as requested.

  • Recognize associates through our Values in Action program for associates who live our values in exemplary ways. 

  • Support Manager’s pre-event team huddles by sharing best practices, updates and event information as relevant for staff’s knowledge.

  • Develop a Quality Control/Quality Assurance inspection program for daily, pre-event, event, and post-event cleaning activities.  Monitor performance and adjust training programs/content accordingly to correct deficiencies.

  • Partner with HR and assist Housekeeping manager with job fair preparation, set-up and hiring for MBS Housekeeping Associates when requested or required.

  • Assist the Scheduling Coordinator with distribution and tracking of keys and two-way radios to PT Housekeeping staff, and collection of keys and radios upon conclusion of events when requested or required.

  • Assist with game day and post-game deployment and supervision to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are achieved.

 Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a building or project of significant scale and complexity.
  • In depth knowledge of commonly used housekeeping/janitorial practices, procedures and concepts.
  • Must have experience with safety regulations and procedures. Completion of OSHA 30-Hr. training within the past 24 months.
  • Experience with data analysis, preventive/corrective action, and key performance indicators.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and presentation)
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint.
  • Prior certification or experience in training employees.
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of large groups
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

Facility Operations: Grounds Crew/Turf Management
Groundskeeper Helper - Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary

Assist in the maintenance of synthetic turf sports field through labor support for painters and turf manager. Assist in field layout, painting and paint removal.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide labor to move equipment on and off professional turf playing surface

  • Assist with game day field make ready

  • Assist painters with field layout

  • Assist with pre-and post-game field maintenance

  • Clean and maintain equipment

  • Clean and remove debris from playing field

  • Assist with playing field game sets.

  • General labor related to field maintenance as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow instruction and work with a productive team in a fast pace environment. Past experience as a painter helper, groundskeeper or field crew hand preferred but not necessary. 

Required Skills

  • General knowledge of field/ groundskeeper equipment or the ability to learn and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions sometimes under tight deadlines and unusual hours. The ability to have fun.

Skilled Field Painter - Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary

Provide support with painting for NFL, MLS, college and high school sporting events on a synthetic turf playing surface.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Layout sports field prior to paint request
  • Paint field under direction of lead painter
  • Assist with field paint needs
  • Provide labor related to field layout needs
  • Clean and maintain equipment and stencils
  • Assist in all Painting activates related to field turf needs

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Ability to work long hours and prior painting experience preferably in a sports field capacity. The ability to follow direction and interpret field painting layouts. Ability to work long hours on demand and work well with a team, High school diploma or equivalent, trade school experience a plus.

Required Skills

Ability to operate airless paint sprayer

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to work unusual hours on occasion

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to measure and layout playing fields

Ability to work in fast pace environment
